Project Abstract:

First Data Corporation process various customers card portfolio of Latin American and Caribbean bank. This Process includes transition of customer’s data from existing system to Vision PLUS with enhanced version with LAC In-house Codes. LAC has two different regions called PROCESA and Grupo AVAL catering to different customers like Banco Bogota, Banco Popular, Banco Occidente etc..,

Various functional and legal requirements requested by these region banks are clubbed together and those requests are staged uniquely by first data with various releases. These changes are applied in the respective client’s layer without affecting the other client. SIT support – System Integration Testing support involves the analysis of validity of defects raised by testing team and code changes for defects and participation in daily defect status discussion to arrive at feasible solution.

Project Abstract:

First Data intends to launch a closed loop chip based prepaid card product on its First Vision China Platform to support one of their client requirements. The product will be launched with the prepaid cards' issuing & acquiring functionalities to support the client’s existing portfolio and also to cater to new business segments.

Client currently issues two types of cards. CCMS cards – primary accounts – these are given to fleet owners and they do not possess any CHIP, hence can’t be used for any sales transactions. These cards however can be used for loading and reloading via batch and terminals. Vehicle cards – secondary accounts – are the chip cards which can be used for sales transactions. These cards can be loaded / reloaded via terminal by cash only. Chip cards can also be loaded using the balance on CCMS cards. These chip cards can be used at merchant outlets for performing sales, recharge, reload, pull & balance transfer transactions. The prepaid product would have multiple accts tied to a relationship. The Customer would decide on issuance / loading / balance transfer / hot listing of individual accts within the relationship. The primary acct would be used only for loading amount & for subsequent transfer to supplementary accounts. The prepaid product will be supported with the issue/reissue & card replacement features.

Statements are not sent to the individual vehicle account but they are sent to the address for CCMS cards. These statements have the details of rewards points on CCMS, balance details of CCMS and every individual Vehicle cards. The prepaid product will be supported with a web interface to the customers accessing their card & transaction details.

This project has several phases to have the complete production migrated to 8.36. Provide solutions to incorporate the current functionalities of legacy system SGB on VisionPLUS 8.36. HSBC RETAIL Services is an accounts receivables system for Bank Cards and Private Label Credit Cards maintained on the WHIRL System. The objective is to provide maintenance and new enhancement support for the system. A new system called the MTC system is to be developed by HSBC which will manage all the applications, activations, authorizations, etc… for the debit cards. The first HSBC project release will enable HSBC to issue Debit cards that can be used by the consumer to purchase merchandise using their checking account funds at our Enrolled Client (RS Merchant) locations, and at any retailer that accepts the Tempo Payment Systems Inc Network.
