Description: Supply Chain reports are presently generated manually by each team in each facility. The reports are in different formats and are manually keyed from a variety of data sources, including CMOS, xNet, ProRep, and reports that are sent from other divisions of the company. Reports created by each team/facility are forwarded to the analytics team where they are manually keyed into reports that consolidate the department level data into facility level data for executive level visibility. Additionally, there is no current reporting on the status of customer shipments in the Supply Chain pipeline. This complex and cumbersome process, and resulting reports, will be addressed by this project, where we will develop a dashboard tool that allows real time visibility of Supply Chain metrics for a variety of different audiences including Supply Chain and NMO executives.

Responsibilities:

Involved in reviewing business requirements and analyzing data sources form CMOS, xNet and ProRep systems, development, testing, and production rollover of reporting and analysis projects within Tableau Desktop and Snowflake as backend database.

Description: Global Product Strategy (GPS) team receives requests from Financial Advisors to review funds/portfolios and suggest if there is a Franklin Templeton fund(s) as a better alternative. Review requests are received for Matrix reviews, MPI and Hypotheticals. This data (compilation of review requests) gives them a direct view into the FT products that advisors are interested in and the competing brands and products that they are comparing Franklin Templeton funds against. Currently, this data is captured manually and in separate spreadsheets/ databases for each of the 3 types of requests received. As such, this data represents untapped potential to gain insights that can be used for targeting purposes in sales and service interactions. The Enhanced Advisor Intelligence program aims to build a tool to facilitate capture of request details (all 3 types) and store them in a single integrated warehouse to derive better data insights. It also aims to migrate existing spreadsheet/manual reports to warehouse based automated reports.

Description: Our Client GE is an advanced technology, services and finance company taking on the world's toughest challenges. Our Project ASIA Lighting DC is a migration project and it was related to Appliances & Lighting domain of GE. The main aim of this project is to migrate the Data, Mappings & Reports from Cockpit (The existing application) server to a newly developed server and developing a separate application for Lighting domain by removing data related to Industrial domain. The Mappings which are used to define ETL data load process are migrated from Informatica 7 version to Informatica 8.6. We need do some change in the data load process by editing the mappings. We need to update some reports as per the requirements given by the client. Previously the reports are scheduled by running java tasks, so we gather the scheduling information from java scripts and Schedule the reports as per the requirement by using publications.

In Phase-1 the migration was completed and in phase-2 we are giving production support along with the developing several new reports as per the user requirements.

Description: This project is a Migration project; there are 400 trade and order processing reports that are generated using VB scripts that run on SQL Server and use C++ as their base language. The reports are generated in various formats like excel, pdf and csv. There is no documentation available for the current report business logic. The VB scripts are specific to a report format or client as the need be, therefore, multiple VB scripts exists. VB scripts include SQL calls to extract data from underlying database tables & generate the required output. VB scripts have capabilities such as password protecting Excel worksheet, dynamic worksheet output, incremental outputs…etc. Our main work is to extract the date from the existing VB scripts and prepare the report specification document and reports. We need to design the dashboards on a weekly basis, for the purpose of giving presentations for client. Once the report was developed testing the report with various test cases.
