The main purpose of this work is to assess the removal of the pesticide- Malathion from aqueous solution in batch mode using the Electro-Coagulation process by minimizing energy consumption.

Title : Extraction of pectin from orange peel by simple distillation method and characterization of pectin.

Institution : Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai. Project Description:

Aim of the study is to extract pectin from orange peels. In order to increase profits for citrus orange growers and processors, citrus orange peels, a by-product of citrus orange processing, was investigated as a source of pectin.
