QA Test Engineer

Description: The objective of this project was to mask the PHI data by using Informatica TDM tool. HCSC is managing the original PHI data in mainframe system. We used to take mainframe files data and masking according to business rule. Downstream systems are using this masking data in unsecured environments. I played as QA test analyst role in this project. My responsibilities were to analyze requirements, prepare test case document and validate the masking data according to business rules.

Responsibilities:

Analyzed the business requirements.

Designing the test cases and preparing SQL queries.

Participated in daily SCRUM stand-up call, grooming session, sprint planning, sprint review and retrospective meetings.

Validated the data masking files according to business rules.

Validated the masking mainframe file by compared with source mainframe file.

Validated the Db2 tables data which are masked by Informatica TDM tool.

Executed test scripts and verified the results. Reported Bugs to developers through the JIRA.
