Roles & Responsibilities:
Receive Material Take off from Project Engineers & Site In charge.
Float enquiries to approved Vendors.
Follow up Techno-commercial quotation.
Coordinated suppliers to submit pre-qualification documents to meet regulatory and compliance requirements of Client.
Approve Vendors in Preferred Vendor List of Client and Approved Manufacturer List of Client. Co-ordinate with supplier for material approval from Client.
Internal approval from Project team and QA/QC Team to proceed further for techno-commercial negotiations.
Placed International Purchase Orders, Local Purchase Orders, International Service Orders and Local Service Orders with sub-contract agreement and ensured that all other required documents are accompanied with the materials.
Negotiate Techno-commercial terms & conditions including Payment & delivery terms as per INCO terms.
Expedited requested product or materials for Quality Assurance/Third Party inspection as required
Cost saving in discounts, manpower and logistics. Ensuring credit facility and processing required documentation for credit facility with supplier.
Responsible for generating monthly reports for the Planning/Purchasing departments.
Attending weekly Progress meeting with Client for each project and submitting Procurement Status report and Procurement plan for long lead items.
Identifying cause of delay and taking necessary remedial action to expedite to deliver material in schedule to support project team.
Managing Vendor with internal evaluation of vendor depending on their commitment to deliver the product in scheduled ETD and quality and durability of product and service.
Supporting accounts department in providing all necessary documents from vendor and Project site in-order to proceed to pay the vendor.
Monitoring material stock in stores, yard and warehouse and ensure availability of consumable materials on-stock for day to day consumption.
Sub-contract vehicle and heavy equipment rental hire monitoring of time-sheet.
Worked in team with a Procurement department strength of 2 data entry operators, 2 procurement officers, 2 Purchasers, 1-Logistic expeditor and along with 2 sub-ordinate Lead Procurement Engineers.
Reporting to Procurement Manager.
Sub-Contracting Responsibilities:
Subcontract planning – Preparation of subcontract plan, review and updating on weekly basis
Receipt of requisitions for Subcontracting, preparation of RFQs and floating enquiries in
consultation with Contracts & Estimation Manager.
Receipt of bids and providing clarifications.

Drafting of LOIs / Service Agreements / Service Orders / Subcontracts.
