Journeyman Carpenter

Under general supervision, performs the full range of journeyman level carpenter duties in the construction, finishing, and repair of buildings, furniture, and other wood products.

Duties Included:

●Performs rough and finished carpentry work in the repair and construction of buildings, sheds, roofs and other items.

●Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes.

●Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding.

●Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients.

Forklift Operator

Operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into railroad cars or trucks or storage facilities.

Duties Included:

●Moving materials around warehouses, storage yards, factories, construction sites and other work sites The machine itself has a hydraulic lifting mechanism, and forks for moving heavy and large objects.

●Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.

●Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.

Apprentice

Responsible for cleaning and preparing construction sites for the erection of structures and buildings. Unloads and loads materials, reads plans and specifications, tends machines, mixes concrete, pours concrete, and assists carpenters, operating engineers, and other construction site workers.

Duties Included:

●Removing waste and debris, watching experienced carpenters, learning, handling tool maintenance, interpreting blueprints, and getting familiar with industry regulations.

●Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes.
