BUSINESS ANALYST
Worked as a Business Systems Analyst on the ongoing high level, very visible Loan Origination Services Lending Lifecycle project with the Lending Payment Acceptance Accounting software “Optimist” that utilized Oracle as the backend Database. AgFirst was an Agile shop and we utilized Jira for Sprints.
Worked with the 3rd Party Association user groups and the 3rd Party Vendor in performing User Acceptances and Business Acceptance (SME) Testing in PD Risk model verification.
When working with the “core” set of associations that were the initial end users, we had to facilitate the requirements from all 3 stakeholders. Worked to clarify and solidify the core requirements for the COA and the PD models from conflicting and differing end user requirements.
Elicited technical and business specifications from associations to help develop Risk Model elements within the Optimist application, allowing for coding specifications to be created.
Performed detailed query and requirements analysis in documenting the COAL system upload, this entailed SQL analysis, Loan origination Servicing analysis and mapping fields from the ACL system to the Mainframe Upload process. Additional analysis of existing formulas that derive the fields was performed and documented field by field.
Performed analysia for Optimist to handle liquidity risk analysis and management of the end client, the farmers obtaining the farm origination loan.
Elicited quantitative risk managemwnt in conjunction for the credit loans to manage customer risk. Optimist produ ed risk models which i created and tested for complete and accurate results .
Created and supported all Risk Models for 5 of the associations. This initiative included coding formulas using the language Python within Optimist.
I worked on replicating/developing 65-+ ratios/formulas from Moody’s into Optimist for Compliance and Regulatory Reporting. This included data mapping from the COA accounts within Moody’s to those created within Optimist. SQL data mining and analysis was performed on each ratio to verify results through UAT verification, thus, data was validated via backend reports created using the new matching Optimist ratios. Cleansing of the Optimist database of extraneous records was performed on the backend of the process, with updates made first in STG then moved into Production on weekly “deployments”.

While I was looking for a new Business Analyst assignment, I worked in 2 Chinese restaurants part-time. I worked with a friend/college fraternity contact in starting up his family’s new Chinese restaurant. I helped to run the cash register, I began work on a website that they decided was not necessary for marketing the restaurant, but it was started. I also worked with him in his relative’s Japanese restaurant.
