● Repaired Lathes, Forging Ovens, and all other equipment at this stainless steel manufacturing plant. Installed, hard wired, and maintained all new equipment, as the plant grew, and updated the machinery.

● My skills in hydraulics, and electrical experience helped this company save on expensive contract labor. Maintaining the equipment at this plant was very easy as the team made their routine schedule.

● Assisted production meet its goals by repairing equipment in all their departments. From conveyor in assembly, to electrical problems incurred in the injection, and blow mold departments. Trouble shoot and repaired all electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment in accordance to priority with the production schedule.

● Having over 350 different machines, some custom in house made. Gave me a great opportunity to update and enhance my electrical troubleshooting skills. Working with voltages ranging from 24 volts de, to 480 volts ac. Using a wide variety of PLC's, from Allen Bradley to Macco, and Cutler Hammer.

● Most of the equipment combined electrical systems with hydraulic, or pneumatic equipment. Using a large inventory of valves, sensors and linear position units enabled me to work with the latest equipment in the market today.

● Working at Igloo gave me a great chance to repair or replace hydraulic valves, all kinds of heaters and timers. Repaired or replaced temperature controllers used for heaters or to open chilled water coils on thermolator units. Whether it was a problem on the blow mold machines to injection and assembly lines. • Troubleshoot, repaired, and maintained several ovens used to temper glass for safety. Repaired glass cutting equipment that required precision cutting and calibrated to company spec. This equipment consisted of encoders and amplifier cards used to keep the settings at ultimate precision.

• Installed new equipment from transformer to control panel. Made modifications to some equipment to improve its use and length of time in service.

• Ordered repair equipment, started a stock of a variety of every day use inventory such as screws, nuts, and tools needed for faster repair of equipment. Organized a maintenance shop and expanded for future, to prevent long down time when repairs were needed. Gathered data vital for repairs such as maintenance manuals, repair parts lists and vendor phone numbers.

• Much of the machinery in this company required mechanical and electrical skills, being a one man operation for a long period of time. Much more could have been accomplished with at least one more maintenance technician. Maintenance Tech. 1998 to 2003

Tex-tube Inc. Houston, TX.

• Repaired equipment at this steel pipe mill. Trouble shoot and repaired cranes, heavy duty conveyor systems, gear boxes, pumps, and all custom equipment.

• Production demands were met, and team atmosphere was the key to a more efficient maintenance department. When not busy I helped out the maintenance team on mill one. Mill two was my responsibility.

• Heavy electrical and mechanical skills needed at this company in order to perform assigned duties. My aim was to try and do as much preventative maintenance as possible to prevent breakdowns during heavy production schedule.

• Much of the equipment at this company was obsolete, and required updating. Made various modifications to both mills and was able to reduce down time at the same time have replaceable equipment. Education
