Preop/PACU RN June 2019-Present

•Provided direct quality care to patients being admitted for surgery including, collecting information regarding compliance with NPO status and medications taken, prepping surgical site as per surgeon’s preference, insertion of IVs, preop medication administration, assisting the anesthesiologist in performing nerve blocks, monitoring patients after sedation, and providing patient education regarding surgery and preop process.
