Operating Systems – I have deep experience across multiple Microsoft platforms, Linux, and mobile applications on both Android and iOS.
Virtual Systems – Using virtual systems like VMware, ESX, Hyper-V, and Virtual Box with vagrant scripts I have expanded test suites and sped up testing efforts by 87%. Regression testing time reduced from 4 hours to 30 minutes.
Programming / Automation – Using languages like Python and C# I have created automation frameworks and tests to provide performance testing and, in some cases, full product regression. ● Process Focused – Worked with management at multiple companies to customize the development process for the needs of that particular company. My efforts resulted in a more frequent release cycle - from quarterly to multiple times a month.
● Project Metrics and Early Warning – Created and used metrics to measure project readiness. Created charts in spreadsheets, EazyBI creator for Jira, and Microsoft Power BI that exposed bottlenecks in the engineering process. The tools enabled management to see issues far in advance of their becoming major problems, giving us time to act instead of react.
● Project Planning and Scoping – Ability to see the big picture of how components of a system affect another. Provided valuable quality considerations at every stage of the development process cutting off potential defects as early as the architecture phase proving early potential identification of issues results in more time and money savings by the company.
