EDUCATION
M.Sc. Electrical Power Engineering (Pass with Merit) 2018 - 2019
Glasgow Caledonian University
Key Modules:
Control systems, Power Electronics and Drive systems, Power System Operation and Protection, Project Planning and Management, Advanced AC and DC Transmission Systems, Condition Monitoring, Energy Audit and Energy Asset Management, Smart Grid and Sustainable Energy System.
M.Sc. Research Project:
Data-Driven Protection for LVDC Microgrid
Developed the model of Low Voltage DC Microgrid in MATLAB and used a novel technique to locate the fault and level of fault resistance in DC Microgrid with Neural Network, with only 1% error in accuracy. (Upcoming in IEEE Publications)
B.Eng. (Hons) Electrical Power Engineering (2:2) 2015 - 2018
Glasgow Caledonian University
Transferred from Segi University
Key Modules:
Electrical Machines, Power System Technology, Control Engineering 4, Renewable energy Technology, Power Electronic Systems 3, Plant & Electrical Distribution, Energy Conversion Technologies, Engineering Operations Managements.
Final Year Project:
Protection schemes for DFIG wind turbines
Worked individually and obtained the first-hand experience with MATLAB simulation. From my findings, I was able to propose protection schemes.
Group Project (3rd Year):
Introduced a new Gas detection sensor that not just detects, but stops the gas leak. Gained first-hand experience of AutoCAD software and developed software skills. Assessed by presentation and group project report. Achieved the highest mark as a group from the rest of the groups.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Awareness and practice of using MATLAB and Linux in M.Sc. and the final project of BEng, Eracs in Power system Technology, Control, Amtech and Magnet in Plant & Electrical Distribution.
