Work History

Mechanical Inspector at Studio International Engineering Consultants (Dubai) From Nov 2019- Jan 2020 (contract)

Inspection commissioning and testing for Mechanical, Plumbing and Fire Fighting to be done on daily basis.

To ensure that the project complies with the specifications, Int'l Codes and standards, Local Regulations and Good Engineering Practices followed in the region.

Where site problems are found, work with ARE or RE to resolve them promptly.

Issue SOR and NCR to contractors for any non-conformance or any discrepancy.

Check and review the mechanical method statement, inspection test plan, project quality control plan, pre-commissioning and commissioning reports.

To inspect and ensure that the material received on the site is as per approved material submittal and undamaged during transportation/installation.

Maintain records of material test performed and executed works.

Monitor the start-up, commissioning and handover of the site works, including maintaining records of the project milestones.

Resolve any related construction or engineering site issues.

Prepare daily site visit reports and submit to the senior engineer and resident engineer as per site procedure.

To liaise with contractors, supplies and local manufacturers in regard to the inspection result.

Monitor contractor activities and maintain relevant records.
