Business Analyst, Development
• Act as knowledge base for the South Carolina, Wyoming and Massachusetts projects and consult when needed.
• Act as liaison and point of contact between the lottery and the Intralot development team.
• Work with the lottery to develop a Business Requirements Specification based on changes and needs.
• Gather technical information on requested changes from the lottery to develop a Functional Requirements Specification.
• Translate lottery requests into development requests based on systems, processes, utilities, terminal software and web sites that will need changes.
• Communicate changes to departments that are affected (Finance, Marketing, Help Desk, Operations, etc).
• Prioritize change requests based on urgency, necessity and, impact on all systems.
• Ensure Development delivers updates in a timely fashion.
• Create test scripts for use during QA testing and User Acceptance Testing.
• Utilize JIRA issue and tracking software to document changes or issues and share with a dedicated QA team.
• Perform QA testing on all software releases, assist lottery with UAT testing, and assist Operations with the go live deployment.
• Deploy new Central System executables and processes to QA, UAT and, Production environments.
• Deploy new Terminal software to QA, UAT and, Production Environments.
• Assist the lottery with any questions or issues during User Acceptance Testing.
• If applicable, after deployment to Production, verify functionality of changes in the field.
• Write project specification, scope, and deployment documentation.
• Generate quarterly tax files for the lottery finance department.
• Verify integrity of yearly 1099 and W2G data generated for lottery finance.
• Perform functionality tests on the Disaster Recovery system during failover tests.
• Be on-site at the lottery during failover tests to ensure any issues are analyzed and resolved as quickly as possible.
• Evaluate problems reported from the lottery.
• Attempt to reproduce any problems reported to verify if there are any system issues, software issues or, user error.

System Operator
• Monitor the central gaming system and perform balancing tasks on an hourly basis.
• Balance weekly financial data between Production and Disaster Recovery systems.
• Complete and process all lottery drawings including Multi-State Lottery games.
• Troubleshoot terminal and system issues with system administrators and field technicians.
• Insert new lottery retailer information into the web application.
• Generate transaction log files for the lottery based on retailer and day criteria.
• Perform overflow hotline troubleshooting duties.
• Distribute videos and playlists to lottery retailers’ Customer Advertisement displays via multicast.
