MILITARY EXPERIENCE

US ARMY - Mission ATLANTIC RESOLVE - Poland, Romania, Germany February 2017 to April 2018 Acted as NCOIC of tactical operations. Responsible for coordinating command, working with NATO troops and canine handlers.

US ARMY - JOINT PERSONAL EFFECT DEPOT- Dover AFB, DE Line Leader - Mortuary Affairs NCOIC of Transportation March 2011 to May 2014 During OIF & OEF Responsible for ensuring personal effects of the fallen are processed with honor, integrity and dignity. I also prepared these effects for delivery to the family in the same manner. Facilitated 24/7 with USO staff at PHL for transport of family members’ safe and timely travel to attend DT at Dover Air Force Base and attended to the families’ needs during their stay. Managed up to 12 civilian personnel and performed necessary military duties. AFMAO mission is to fulfill the nation’s sacred commitment of ensuring dignity, honor and respect to the fallen and care, service and support to their families.

US ARMY – ORH (OPERATION RESTORE HOPE) Haiti, Port of Prince NCOIC of Battalion Mortuary Affairs February 2010 to July 2010

Investigated and determined the validity of claims filed for individuals with US passports or US citizens. Exhumed remains for identification and facilitated safe and secure disposal of remains. The earthquake’s death toll was estimated at 250,000. Received promotion to E7 upon completion of this deployment. US ARMY - OIF/ OEF - Operation Iraqi Freedom / Operation Enduring Freedom Mosul & Anaconda, Iraq Kuwait International Airport Farwaniyah, Kuwait TMOB NCOIC - 377th Battalion CSB 2006 to 2008 Performed various duties in the morgue including preparing the necessary paperwork to ship remains to the US. Achieved promotion from E4 to E6 upon completion of deployment in recognition of my dedication to the mission. US ARMY National Guard - West Chester, PA Infantryman 82nd Airborne 4th 325 - deployment to Sinai Peninsula, Egypt August 1993 to November 1994

Responsibilities included leading, supervising and serving as a unit member of 20 in offensive and defensive ground combat. Employing machine guns, anti-armor weapons and individual weapons. US ARMY – stationed at Fort Lee Base Material Handling and Storage for various units December 1989 to August 1993

Duties included reviewing and verifying shipping documents and inspecting incoming equipment for damage and accuracy. Maintained inventory.

EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE

CARPENTER TECHNOLOGY – Reading, PA – 4/29/19 to present FED/EX Delivery Service – Berks County surrounding area February 2016 to present Pickup, logistics and delivery of packages to residential and business locations. BERKS COUNTY Coroner’s Office – Reading, PA Deputy Coroner June 1999 to February 2016 Investigated cause of death for Berks County incidents/accidents. Obtained samples of bodily fluids, ordered tests when necessary, transported remains. Responsible for notification of next of kin as well as coordinating with law enforcement, EMS and hospital staff to expedite processing of individual cases and sharing of information. BERKS COUNTY Youth Center – Reading, PA Bethany Children’s Home Emergency Shelter – Womelsdorf, PA Juvenile Corrections Officer 1996 to 1999

An intervention center that provides one on one counseling for troubled adolescents. Oversaw the daily structured activities at the center including athletic clinics and leadership workshops as well as facilitated group sessions for support. TRAINING
