Part of a management team, helping to develop electro-mechanical devices, HMI’s. Successfully managed and completed many projects from concept to final production. Key customers included Northrop, UTC Goodrich, Secure Communication, and L3 Communications. Designs included Silicone Rubber Keypad, Machined Bezels, Molds, Multi-layer Circuit Boards, Membrane Switches, and Capacitive Touch Controls. Collaborated with stakeholders, vendors, distributors, customers, internal staff, and participated in cross-functional design teams. Primary function within the organization was to create designs and prepare them for manufacturing, Models, Drawings, BOM’s, and Work Instruction, etc. Secondary role was to support manufacturing by creating assembly fixtures, test fixtures, programing manufacturing equipment, laser cutters, pick-n-place machines, and resolving manufacturing problems and providing technical guidance to assemblers.
