Former electronics instructor, with 10 plus years of experience teaching in vocational schools. Twenty years’ experience working in the electronics field, with extensive experience testing, troubleshooting, assembly and repair. Tote Machine Mechanic Scientific Games, San Bernardino, Ca. 2/2007-7/2007

Did troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of machines used in the horse racing off-track betting industry. Responsible for 81 machines. Submitted daily maintenance reports on time, with 100% accuracy.

Electronics Instructor ITT Technical Institute, Torrance, Ca 10/1988-10/1998

Taught Basic Electronics Technology and hands-on techniques in the laboratory. Responsible for teaching the following courses: Basic AC/DC principles, Transistors, Operational Amplifiers, Digital Circuits, Communications Circuits and also an introduction to Programmable Logic Controllers. I also counselled students and 98% of my students graduated with an average grade point of 3.0 or higher.

Repaired linear and switch-mode power supplies in the quality assurance departments. Rantec Power Systems designed and manufactured power conversion products. (AC/DC converters, inverters, also high and low voltage switch-mode power supplies) I completed and average of 9 units per 8-hr shift.

Tested and repaired microprocessor-based telecommunication and linear power supplies. This company anufactured equipment used in the telephone cable industry.

Associate Engineer Anaconda Advanced Technology Dublin, Oh. 9/1980-11/1984

Wrote test procedures from engineering specifications. Tested and repaired custom low voltage switch-mode power supplies, also tested and repaired microprocessor interface circuit boards. This company designed and manufactured electronic control circuit boards used in nuclear power plants. I completed a minimum of 8 units per 8-hour shift.
