Managed and assisted in designing, building and transitioning eight separate datacenters to two active\active datacenters.

Designed, installed and configured six Cisco UCS B series chassis, 18 Cisco C210, NetApp 6080, 3170, 3160 controllers with 800 TB raw disk space. Installed equipment in offsite datacenters with complete network redundancy. Third site used for archiving data from datacenters using NetApp SnapVault and NetApp SnapMirror.

Utilized VMware VSphere 4.1 to virtualize 99% of 800 servers. Utilized High Availability, DRS and SRM to insure redundancy and high availability. Also virtualized MS SQL.

Led and maintained existing infrastructure of 500 + servers while building new infrastructure. Transitioned and managed outsourcing of OCS/Exchange/IM/voice systems. Citrix: Designed, set-up project plan, tested and converted two Citrix farms using two Citrix XP servers and two Citrix 4.0 servers to three servers using Citrix version 4.5. Achieved complete system inter-communication using AIE and application streaming.

Installed and set up Exchange 2003 server for 250 users and 100 mobile devices. Installed, set-up and migrated to Exchange 2007.

Responsible for installing, configuration, administration, support of 30 Windows 2000/2003 Servers in Active Directory environment scattered across 7 regional sites.

Managed and administered 30 Windows 2003 Servers Active Directory, nine DNS servers, seven DHCP servers, one Exchange 2003 Server, four SQL servers, three IIS servers, three accounting and sales servers and two RIS servers.

Senior Systems Administrator, Cervalis LLC, Wappinger’s, NY 2004 – August 2006

Supported and maintained six different Citrix farms ranging from 100 users to 800 users for this premier provider of IT infrastructure solutions.

Designed, installed and debugged conversion of email infrastructure from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003. Migration was an inter-organizational move to a two-site clustered environment, with each site utilizing a three-node active-active-passive cluster with a front-end server in each site.

Assisted in managing, troubleshooting, monitoring, backing up, and installing 150 clients with approximately 1500 servers in two locations, including Exchange, SQL and Windows servers.

Senior Customer Service Engineer, JADE SYSTEMS, Cold Spring, NY 2000 – 2004

Project managed and assisted in company-wide email system transition (team of four engineers). Moved from Lotus Notes to Microsoft Exchange 2000 within two months, with no loss of productivity.

Expanded, debugged and maintained Enterprise RightFax infrastructure for 250 users.

Designed, installed, debugged new enterprise Blackberry Enterprise Server infrastructure. Setup and rolled out 150 Blackberry devices for end users. Debugged user issues.
