To whom it may concern,

As a skilled and highly effective business professional with 20+ years of experience in analyzing processes, implementing solutions, teaching, leading large-scale projects to achieve organizational goals and business requirements, I am confident that I could confidently add to your team.

In my current position as Senior Business Analyst for TIFFANY & CO, I analyzed complex business requirements needed for customer experience, marketing, as well as performed process analyses of customer activities to determine alternative business solutions and process improvement opportunities on Tiffany’s top project, Retail Foundation. From reviewing test cases and conducting stakeholder interviews to liaising between cross-functional departments and spearheading projects, I have acquired a breadth of experience and knowledge in retail and marketing luxury items.

An example of my approach on gathering requirements, as well as training is how you interact with various people. I believe most people learn through visualization, hearing, hands on or a combination of these items. People will tell you how to teach them best through language. If the person says, “I see what your saying”, I would use more visual teaching tools. “I hear what you’re saying” I would speak more. “I understand or I can do that” are people who learn best hands on. I have worked in commission only sales where you learn to also read peoples body language. The ability to understand how people communicate and learn, along with my 20+ years in the business world, would makes me a unique analyst.

I served 3 years as an 05K in Bad Aibling, Germany. My husband retired from the Army after almost 23 years. My oldest daughter attends ESU while serving in the Army Reserves. My youngest daughter is an AIRBORNE Combat Medic serving in Afghanistan for the 82nd. As a military family, I know how to quickly address ever changing challenges.

Consider the following highlights of my qualifications:

• Piloting junior analysts through major projects while overseeing multimillion-dollar budgets, meeting project-defined milestones, and delivering analytical results for finance-, HR-, and inventory-related business areas.

• Identifying problem areas and performance gaps to mitigate—or eliminate—issues and maintain compliance with project management framework standards and procedures.

• Analyzing a full range of business concerns, needs, and requirements to identify and recommend processes, products, and solutions to meet goals and objectives.

• Translating business user concepts and ideas into understandable and comprehensive business requirements and design documents.

• Providing essential team leadership and support through effective interpersonal, organizational, and leadership abilities.

• Holding an MBA in International Business from University of Montana. My undergraduate was in Radio/TV through the School of Journalism. My minor was Marketing.

• I competed on the University of Montana Marketing Team for the Kodak and Saturn campaigns.

• During college, I took classes for Teaching English as a 2nd language.

• During AIT in the Army, I was part of a pilot program, “Saturday Scholars”, which taught disadvantaged children struggling in school on Saturdays.

With my record of success leading teams in analyzing business processes and executing projects, I am positioned to vastly exceed your expectations for this role and substantially benefit your organization. I look forward to discussing the position, and what I can offer you, in further detail.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Yours sincerely

TONYA MILLER
