-Building the Bot. It mainly deals with communicating with the CMT application through web services, and communicating with SAP.

• Bot will connect to the CMT application, to get the cases, and download the corresponding excel attachment. The excel attachment carries the PO details, for which the GRs need to be posted.

• After getting the PO numbers, bot will verify the details from SAP-ME23N T-Code.

•Upon successful verification, bot will post the GR, through SAP-ML81N, OR SAP-MIGO, depending upon the type of POs they are (Productified or Non-Productified)

• Upon successful posting, the bot will send confirmation, with the corresponding GR numbers to the requestor.

• After completion of the process, bot changes the status of the case in CMT, through Webservices.

Highlights

The client desired to have three new types of Change Orders. CO Product, CO Non Product, and CO NPD. CO Product, were supposed to be used for Parts, and Documents release, revision, or obsoleting, whereas CO Non Products will deal with only documents. Fresh attributes named, Object Category also introduced. Which will define to which kind of CO, the object can be connected to. Data migration was done for the existing objects, to incorporate the new attribute labels.

Huge number of Parts, its BOM, and corresponding files were supposed to get moved to the application. Needed a data migration for the same.

Bug reported for, not being able to clone a part. Also, it was giving some errors while trying to delete some existing object from the system.
