CAPSTONE PROJECT: REHABILITATION SHOE, TEAM LEAD SEPTEMBER 2019 – PRESENT

• Design and build test rigs to simulate six months of walking and scuffing in one week

• Design, test, and manufacture a custom shoe that will allow people suffering from drop foot to walk with a normal gait

• Team lead duties include facilitating assignments for team members, ensuring deadlines and goals are met, creating project timeline, reviewing and approving all designs, communicating and meeting with advisors and manufacturers to discuss shoe prototype designs, organizing and leading team meetings to keep all members up to date on current progress and weekly goals, along with analyzing all testing data in Excel to analyze and optimize current designs ENGINEERING FOR SUSTAINABILITY PROGRAM, MUNICH, GERMANY JUNE 2019 – AUGUST 2019

• Studied battery cells for electric vehicle use and energy storage

• Toured BMW battery cell manufacturing plant to learn how they are made and fully integrated into vehicles
