PhD, Materials Engineering University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Milwaukee, WI 2019 MSc, Materials Engineering Ferdowsi University of Mashhad Iran 2013 BSc, Metallurgy Engineering Ferdowsi University of Mashhad Iran 2010 EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS

Materials Engineer (Product Development), BRP Marine US, October 2016-now Since May 2018, as the head of Materials Engineering Department at Evinrude BRP and expert in metallic

(ferrous and non-ferrous) and nonmetallic (polymers and composites) materials, I am supporting new product development, supplier quality teams, purchasing, coating and painting, production, and conducting research, internally and in collaboration with suppliers and academic partners. I am responsible for materials selection, failure analysis, materials development, and corrosion prevention strategy for G2 outboard engine. Key Accomplishments:

• Materials selection and process design for G2 115 Evinrude engine which was awarded the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) Innovation Award.

• Implementing failure analysis tools to improve engineering process of powertrain parts. Directly saved up to $300K in annual warranty return cost.

• Performing more than 200 failure analysis projects and writing failure analysis reports to assist supply chain, quality, cost saving, and corrosion prevention in 2019.

• Creating data base, by testing materials and using available data, for fatigue, strength, ductility and corrosion properties of alloys used in Evinrude outboard engines for design engineers.

• Analyzing Evinrude lost foam casting surface profiling, cast defects, geometry and casting parameters to establish a base line of requirement for quality performance.

Materials Eng. Research & Teaching Assistant, University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, 2014-19

Welding Inspection Supervisor, NDT Expert, Mashhad-Iran, 2010-14

Quality Engineer at Part-Sazan Forging Company, Mashhad-Iran, 2010 RESEARCH HIGHLIGHTS

Materials Science and Engineering, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee As an expert in physical metallurgy, mechanical behavior of materials, solidification and phase transformation; I have 10 years of research experience and have performed research in different areas in collaboration with industry and academic partners.

Key Accomplishments:

• Studying physical, mechanical and corrosion properties of cast and rapidly solidified Co-alloys as hip and knee implant materials. Implementing novel laser welding to study rapid solidification and learning its application in additive manufacturing process.

• Studying the heat treatment and creep properties of Al-A319 alloy used in automotive industry.

• Analyzing the mechanical behavior of springs made by Carbon fiber/epoxy composites by means of experimental, analytical, and numerical methods.
