Career Summary:
Since 2012: Retail; B2B; B2C HSSE Responsible (Vivo Energy Tunisia) During this period I provide a full support to HSSE, Contracts/Procurement and Contract Holders in Pre & Post Award Contracts Safety Management as the following Process figure.
I Established, developed and maintained Safe Work procedures for critical activities based on specific requirements and I ensure the good compliance and implementation on site.
I Support various COB’s to comply with process, I actively support the team to prepare the HSSE Readiness to Start project in line with Performance Review process
(kick-off meeting - Pre-mobilization inspection - Pre-execution workshop - Milestone zero certificate etc...)
In additional, I act as a HSSE leadership coach, providing guidance to COB’s leaders in order to improve their HSSE leadership behaviours. Work to develop a consistent HSSE culture throughout all business. Ensure consistently high quality HSSE practices at all Projects work sites. Build long-lasting and constructive internal relationships. Conducted testing, evaluation, and verification to ensure full compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
Contribute on HSSE performance achievement according to agreed target, maintain the goal zero objective, Safe and Reliable Production at VIVO’s largest and most profitable Asset.
Hold H&M training session with relevant Class of Business; Contractors and customers to reach proactive HSSE culture.
Provide expert technical support to help drive retail, B2B or LPG bulk site improvement in term of Health, safety include process safety requirements, security and environment. I support CoB project’s in design consulting, technical quality assurance and start-up assistance.
I develop and deploy HSSE processes tools and technology that provide high added value to retail, B2B or LPG bulk sites.
I participate for all B2B oil and LPG innovative project and I provide technical leadership and promote best practice sharing on the organization. I Develop and maintain engineering practices, I coach, mentor and develop less- experienced engineers and operational personnel in all aspects of HSSE engineering. I lead process safety audit with the team in depot, retail or B2B oil and LPG bulk installation witch we verify the effectiveness of safety critical equipment and activity to control, mitigate process safety Hazards and threats by using the process safety basic requirement check-list.
From 1997-2011: Retail Project Manager (Shell Tunisia) Able to manage a portfolio of 03 to 06 Retail projects per year with budget over than 10M$ and managed each project team while initiating planning, executing, controlling, and closing project. Provided ongoing project analysis, mitigated “scope creep,” communicated project status, and identified and resolving project issues and constraints. Project Report (closure, learned lessons, performance management, equipment and building quality as per PMP “Project Manager Professional” procedure). Preparation of tender - Projects estimation - Contractor’s evaluation. Develop the annual investment plan with the Team and the Service Level Agreement
(SLA) with various stakeholders. Ensured that objectives were accomplished in accordance with outlined priorities. Analysed results of operations to discover more efficient ways to utilize resources.
Reviewed project status reports during each operational phase. Site inspection and audit and HSSE reporting. Contactors safety forum. Lead business initiatives in design, materials, manufacturing, quality and/or productivity Monitor and communicate project status, business issues and significant developments as appropriate. Assure proper documentation for assigned project end/or task in line with standards in various domains. Schedule resource and preparation of engineering projects. Ensuring budget/CAPEX forecasts accuracy with tie-in to project schedules. Propose and develop new technologies and implement renewable energy equipment with a high cost saving contribution. I was involved in some retail automation program regarding wet stock management by implementation of Automatic Tank Gauging (ATG) system. In 2009, I lead a “Green Site” project in Shell Retail site “GP9 La Marsa” in Tunis witch I was faced to several challenges and innovations. During this project, I had implemented many new environment friendly solutions like Led lighting, Vapor Recovery Unit, Moving Solar Panels (Energy efficiency +40% compare to the fixed one).
