Of Methods and Madness: A Spatial Approach to the Civil War’s Guerrilla Violence

• Worked closely with a team of 4 members in developing a map to track guerrilla attacks in the Confederacy during the Civil War using QGIS, OpenLayers, and Leaflet

• Designed a website using HTML and CSS to host the map along with other information regarding the history, research, and analysis of guerrilla warfare 3D WebGL Scene

• Worked in a two-man team to create a 3D scene of a room using WebGL with various objects created from polygonal meshes, extruded shapes, and surfaces of revolution

• Utilized lighting and texture mapping to create a more complex and visually striking scene complete with animation and sound effects

Parallel Processing Online Game Queue

• Created a program that simulates a queue for an online game world using POSIX Threads and Open MPI to perform parallel processing

• The program would simulate a queue for players to wait to enter a game, and when a player died in the game, they would be moved to the end of the queue while everyone else would move up in the queue to enter the next epoch of the game
