Project :

STEP Pump Station (PS-01) is engineering, procurement and construction of a 100 meter deep and 50 meter wide sewage pump station which is part of STEP (Strategic Tunnel Enhancement Program). The pump station is to convey raw sewage from the termination of the STEP deep tunnel sewer to the adjacent Al Wathba Sewage Treatment Plant. The project has the below characteristics:

Odour control facilities to actively ventilate and treat the connecting 40 kilometer long sewerage tunnel System, link sewers and tunnel pump station.

Shaft dimensions of 50 meter diameter and 100 meter depth. Responsibilities:

Site survey and inspection of survey work.

Site Survey and inspection of Extensometer, Shaft Stress Cell, Shaft Convergence equipment’s Installation.

Monitoring of Shaft Convergence 3D Prism.

Provide protection to the highly precise survey works.

Maintenance of Survey equipment’s and their related accessories.

To establish fix points for use in making maps, using geodetic and engineering instruments (Theodolite And Total Station by co-ordinate system).

To sketch the path above a surface area, following any excavation work. Pakistan Motorway Company (PMC)
