Multimodal Analysis Web-App – El Paso MPO, CTIS – UTEP May 2019 – December 2019
Google Maps web application which will aid in monitoring modes of transportation in El Paso Texas. This project will aid in tracking transportation performance over time, identify gaps in infrastructure, provide information for planning decisions, and be a resource to city planners, politicians, and the general public.
Undergraduate Projects
Behavior Analysis Tool (BEAT) August 2019 – December 2019
Senior Design Project for the Army research labs. Python program that received binary file and returned filtered metadata that was inside file. Contributed on project as V&V of the team.
Book wish list Android App February 2019 – May 2019
Android app that allows user to scan ISBN code from books. Once the code is scan the book is added into the user’s wish list with the book’s information. Developed on Android Studio.
Work Experience
Center for Transportation Infrastructure Systems (CTIS) – UTEP Research Center Research Assistant / Lead Programmer May 2019 – Present
Implement google maps API to the project in order to display points, lines and polygons to the map of El Paso, Texas.
Front end development using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and bootstrap to create graphs, buttons, tabs, and website architecture.
Backend development using PHP, and MySQL to transfer data from database to web program. Perform calculations that generated the data and graphs displayed on web app.
Design code that helps in the flow of the website, time performance on loading data, have dynamic graphs and text.
El Paso Communication Systems Inc. (EPCOM)
Web Programmer Intern May 2017 – May 2019
Developed Epcom’s website by updating and simplifying old web code into newer version code. Rewrote code on Bootstrap.
Designed new pages for the main site, which were published and added to company website.
Debugged errors that caused malfunction to buttons, images and links. Added comments and documentation on key functions.
Maintenance to Epcom’s website by adding new products as they are release and remove outdated products that are no longer needed.
