System on Chip Design Microprocessor and Controllers III Computer Architecture Projects
Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter
Implemented a UART which would allow communication between an FPGA Artix 7 and the laptop terminal, able to control the speed of transfer and other parameters from the on-board switches. Bluetooth Communication with Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter Programmed a TM4C123 Board and used embedded systems to initiate wireless communication with a bluetooth module to control a circuit’s output onto an oscilloscope. Reduced Instruction Set Computer
Created and coded a 16-bit RISC processor, emulating a calculator able to execute 20 different instructions, storing results in memory and displaying them on the FPGA’s 7-segment LED display. Wall Following Robot
Built a vehicle structured robot with infrared sensors to communicate in real time to a TM4C microcontroller in order to simultaneously complete a maze and avoid contact with surrounding walls. Traffic Light Controller
Assembled and replicated a 4-corner intersection with 2 traffic lights as a circuit controlled by an arm microcontroller with the purpose of applying engineering to the real world. Color Sorting Candy Machine
Currently designing, assembling, and programming an efficient mechanism that sorts a 1.6 oz bag of M&Ms (about 60 individual M&Ms) by each of their 6 colors in under 3 minutes. Organizations
Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity - Treasurer
Organized a $10,000 budget responsible for 15 members which accounted for 6 different committees and created customized payment plans.
Work Experience
Math Tutor, Dream Tree Education Center (K -8 Grade)Torrance, July 2017 – August 2018 Tutored and monitored a group of 3-6 children at a time in order to establish a strong mathematical foundation in subjects ranging from basic arithmetic to geometry.
