Principal Packaging Engineer for the In Store Solutions cross function team, responsible for the design of all temporary and permanent POP fixtures focusing on bringing innovations and efficiencies to the merchandising process. Managing and delegating retailer concept requests and development among a team of packaging engineers.
Influence retail buyers and sales team to provide merchandising programs that meet all product and financial hurdles. Partner with the account planning group to develop department planograms, helping to determine placement of new merchandising and communication vehicles.
Responsible for coordinating and testing structural and creative designs for Crayola and customer corporate initiatives. As the retail segment leader the findings are presented to accounts to influence their corporate programs for major seasonal programs and planogram reinvention. The most recent testing has led to the reinvention of 4 different retailers planogram spaces.

Product platform engineer responsible for developing consumer product packaging acquired both the My First Crayola and Pixies product lines that focused on children from 12mo – 3years and Tween girls. Combine annual revenue of 4 million dollars.
Developed the modulator packaging based on product price point for the launch of My First Crayola. Worked with product design to influence the design of products to fit within footprint to create a cohesive line look.
Working closely with Marketing, Product Design, Project Management, Engineering, Data Governance Team, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, and R&D for new product development.
Responsible for packaging concepts and samples, costing documentation, die line management, and vendor approvals. Created specification and assembly documentation for the product lines.

Assisted merchandising and platform engineers to develop consumer product packaging.
Worked with our international team to localize packaging structures and graphics for our international markets. This included a full rebrand of our tween girl line to accommodate a more diverse market.
Teamed with Crayola’s China offices to set up sample timing, costing and approving final die lines and pack out for production for our production facilities in China, Indonesia and Vietnam.
