Personal Statement
I have been a Workday Spend functional consultant for the past 4 months at Aurecon and previously an HCM functional consultant at Fulton Hogan for 10 months during their Workday implementations. This has involved updating config and business process workbooks and the configuration of business processes on both the desktop and on mobile devices. I moved to a functional Workday role in order to understand how to modify, secure, validate and manage Business Processes. I am Workday Studio certified (September 2018). While at Bupa I was responsible for BAU, managed releases to implement WD and related interfacing systems. I have performed WD maintenance and design activities including writing interfaces to ServiceNow and the Chris21 payroll. I maintain strong relationships with Payroll to ensure seamless operation between WD and the various pay systems. Specific recent Workday integration experience has involved configuring DocuSign and creating PECI connector integrations to help with integration design. Prior to working at BUPA, in 2015, I was the Workday technical lead at Toll and managed approximately 30 integrations to various payroll and related systems. Other relevant Workday experience has included creating EIBs to load training organisations, testing, report writing, creating custom objects and calculated fields. I have experience with configuring and implementing Core HCM, Compensation, LMS, Recruitment and the Talent modules within Workday. BAU activities have involved updating pay period and holiday calendars, configuring announcements, managing merit and EBA compensation changes and correcting data and configuration issues as required. I have solid experience in designing and managing WD from end to end and understand integration into third party systems. I have created test cases and performed system testing.
I helped design and implement the Workday release process to manage changes including issue capture, prioritization, logging in Devops, JIRA, VSTS and Trello, and performed estimation and packaging of issues into releases. I worked with BUPA to clean Workday data and on a large project to help remediate issues to help realize the benefits of Workday. Also, having worked with a number of different Workday implementation partners, I now understand some of the gaps in the Workday methodology and business processes in the HR and Spend domains with regard to companywide BPs. I have created my own method including deliverables, test strategy and project tasks based on learnings from my implementation experiences.
I believe my overall experience gives me an understanding of how to implement and make Workday run effectively in a large organization. I am able to help establish ROI criteria as well as improve day-to-day operation, improve integration into the wider organization and to establish reporting. I will plan, execute and manage these tasks through to completion.
Visa Status
If offered a position which requires a work visa, such as an E3 in the USA, I will organise and fund that visa.
