Programming in Python– Taiwanese Government Receipt Lottery Checker
Design Project Oct 2019 – Nov 2019
In Taiwan, in order to encourage tax reporting every receipt issued by a tax-paying business has a lottery number printed on it. I wrote a Python program to automatically check a Google Sheets file full of lottery numbers against the winning lottery numbers posted online by the Taiwanese government every two months and email myself with any winning numbers.
