Controls engineer
-Working with PLC and HMI applications in Lumber mills with main focus on OLI CS-3 and TBL3 machines (OEM by BID Group Technologies )by COMACT.
-Proficient in ladder logic programming with COMACT standards. Both with Rs Logix 5000 and Factory Talk View for HMI.
-Worked as a secondary controls engineer at Georgia pacific lumber mill in Alabama and for Dempsey lumber in South Carolina.
-Worked as a primary controls engineer at Dempsey lumber, South Carolina. Supervised the line for production and also conducted performance tests.
-Commissioned a Cetec Twin Saws line at Rex Lumber at Tory, Alabama.
-Tuned Machines using PID loops through the Delta RMC modules
-Tuned and calibrated Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs – specifically PowerFlex 755) for conveyor belts and other machines.
