Highlights of Qualification:
•Over 10 years of experience as Journeyman Pipefitter including layout, fabricate, assemble and install piping system such as cooling water, heat exchange and recovery.
•In depth understanding of the construction, maintenance and repair process in the oil and gas industry
•Able to read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings and specification to determine layout requirements.
•Wide experience with metal pipes, valves and fittings; join and secure pipe sections in place for off module spools and module connections; cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines.
•Great ability to measure, cut, thread, select type and size of pipe required and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools.
•Profound knowledge of tools and equipment of the trade and skill in their safe use.
•Study blueprint ans specification to determine what type of pipe tools to be use and layout the sequence of task
•Responsible for fabricating pipe spools, pipe support as per fabrication drawing
•Read and interpret isometric drawing specified and cut sheet for fabrication
•Hydro test the system for leaks using testing equipment and install fabricated spools within structural steel modular assemblies
•Fit up and install of small bore up to big bore pipe which include installation of glycol steam tracing around the pipes and valve
•Strong knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade, ensures the safety and well-being of oneself and others on the job.
