As a hostess, I was responsible for greeting customers before quickly and efficiently seating them inside the restaurant. I assisted servers and customers in many different ways, always maintaining a helpful, positive attitude. Part of my job also included side-work, cleaning, and running a cash register as needed. When promoted to a server position, I was responsible for all of the previously mentioned duties, in addition to memorizing the changing menus, taking guest food/drink orders, bringing out food, and upholding guest satisfaction. I am well-versed in using an electronic POS system, and making correct change for customers.
