Conducted the BlueYonder (BY) TMS functional upgrade assessment project for a multinational consumer packaged goods manufacturer. Reviewed the existing process and provided recommendations on how to leverage new functionalities with the BY TMS.

Transportation Business Systems Manager

Built, managed, and led, eight-member transportation business systems team to design, develop, implement and monitor robust strategic and tactical transportation and supply chain solutions to drive optimization savings and visibility across the enterprise using the JDA suite of transportation solutions (TM, FOM, and TMod). The solutions spanned across Supplier Inbound, Dealer Outbound, Inter Facility, Packaging Returns, and integration with International Freight.

Oversaw functional design and development of in-house supporting applications and integration layers with CAT development team, following scrum and agile methodologies. Prioritized and led system enhancements through effectively coordinating activities between the business and IT.

Led implementation of JDA TM and FOM to effectively enable Inbound freight management within Caterpillar across 45 facilities from over 2K suppliers. The program generated over $10.5M annual freight savings and improved load planning efficiency. The program was expanded to other regions based on this successful implementation.

Delivered successfully global transportation modeling projects with JDA TMod, to support implementation, freight forecasting, and drive continuous improvements within the Caterpillar transportation network.

Led implementation of FourKites live intransit visibility solution in conjunction with JDA TM to provide live predictive ETA for all North America truckloads.

Lead Consultant on a Strategic Supply Chain Planning project for a leading US manufacturing company to redesign the distribution network and identify synergies. The findings identified a 9% savings opportunity by integrating the distribution network of three of their divisions.

Led a Strategic Supply Chain Planning project for a leading US medical supplies distribution company to streamline the distribution operations. The findings identified 8% savings opportunity through DC rationalization, optimal DC-Customer alignment, and optimal transportation mode for customer delivery.
