University of California, Los Angeles Jun 2015 - Jul 2015 Selected to participate in GEM Discoverer Program for summer study at UCLA Pacific Securities Co., Ltd. Jul 2019 - Sep 2019
Research Intern, Industry Research Department Beijing, China Independently researched the electric vehicle industry, including a brief industry introduction, development history, industry scale, industry growth rate, business models, impact of subsidy policy, and future development direction. Joined an investigation of MingYang Smart Energy, and PowerVision Technology Ltd. Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology Aug 2016 - Dec 2016 Research Intern, 3D Additive Manufacturing/Forming Technology Group Singapore Project: Stereolithography (SLA) 3D printing technology for materials development Learned how to explore the process of new materials development Obtained the main compositions of UV-curable resins. Verified roles of every ingredient played, characterised materials for mechanical properties and chemical properties, stability and biocompatibility and compared with the commercial materials on the market. Discussed the ductility of the materials that need to be improved and other possible safety methodology to verify properties. Characterizatioan of Novel Ionogels for Multifunctional Smart Windows Aug 2017 - May 2018 Final Year Project, NTU
In this project, a new class of photothermotropic materials was intensively investigated. With the unique structure and interactions in such ionogels, the materials can switch reversibly between transparent and opaque states. Through detailed analysis of photothermotropic behavior, the underlying mechanism was discussed by studying the effect of each material. By adjusting the composition, the tunable optical-switching performance can be controlled over a wide range of temperatures. Electrical Characterization of a P-N Junction Diode and a Bipolar Transistor Aug 2017 - Dec 2017 Group Project, NTU
Aimed to characterize the properties of a diode, and demonstrated its application in creating a rectifying waveform. Investigated the characteristics of bipolar transistors when used for amplification in a rectification circuit. Electrical Conductivity and Measurement of Carrier Concentration in Semiconductors Jan 2017 - May 2017 Group Project, NTU
Studied the measured resistivities of materials by using the four terminal techniques. Discussed the relationship between carrier concentrations of semiconductors and resistivity of materials. Learned about the band gap of semi-conductors and how to determine it. NTU Materials Science & Engineering Club Aug 2014 - Jul 2015 Sub-committee, Publication Singapore
Supported and participated in MSE Club events as a photographer The Institute-Varsity-Polytechnic Games
