I’ve had a unique career path in the sense that I spent nearly two decades with one company, which is almost unheard of in today’s professional world. I started as a Sales Associate with Federated Departments stores when I was a college student, and once I graduated, I moved upstairs so to speak. My first corporate role within Perry Ellis International was as a visual merchandiser. After several years, I was promoted to Retail Marketing Manager, where I managed shop installs and worked on retail marketing projects, among many other duties. For the last seven year I’ve been the company’s full-time photography producer, coordinating daily photoshoots for all of PEI’s fashion brands. During this most recent phase, I obtained my certificate in Digital Media & Marketing through Duke University online. The course focused on developing my knowledge of digital market, including SEO, PPC, email marketing and more. I also launched my own wedding and event planning company, A Love for Detail, which has steadily gained an outstanding reputation in South Florida. Today, I’m looking for fresh career possibilities that leverage the skills and interests I’ve developed over almost 20 years. The job I’m looking for is ideally within the marketing, product merchandising, photography production or event planning sectors, but I’m open to learning about all types of interesting opportunities.

Responsible for producing daily photoshoots for all the company’s fashion brands – 14 in total. We shoot e-commerce marketing, campaign marketing, look books, and retail display both in studio and on location nationwide. I also track and manage all of the company’s photography records, including shoots by outside producers.

My duties include managing budgets, negotiating contracts, and sourcing models, photographers, production staff and locations. I also helped the creative team select talent reflective of each shoot’s overall concept.

I also managed in- store fixture development for the Cubavera, Callaway and Perry Ellis brands Using our Visual Retailing software, I created 3D renderings of fixtures and shop floors to help develop fixture design and purchasing plans.
