Technical Skills

Hardware

Upgrading and replacing internal desktop/laptop internal components.

Willingness and ability to learn new systems and adapt with the changing corporate environments.

Experience supporting various types of cell phones and services, including support for email on iPhones, Android, and Windows based smartphones.

Very experienced in all aspects desktop support (desktops, laptops, mobile devices, etc.) and peripheral installation and support (monitors, mice, keyboard.)

Software

Experience installing and configuring Microsoft operating systems.

Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 and working knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu).

Proficient in Anti-Virus and Malware Removal.

Data management, backup, recovery, system restores, disk imaging.

Remote Desktop Support using industry standard applications. (RDP, TeamViewer, VNC etc.)

Proficient in the use of desktop virtualization software (Virtual Box, VMware, etc.)

Current experience working with all Microsoft Office products up to Microsoft 365.

Networking

Ability to determine virus activity at the desktop level and perform network threat assessment.

Hands on experience in network programming, installation and troubleshooting of LAN and WAN networks.

Configuration and Installation of wired/wireless routers, switches, hubs, as well as managing group permissions.

Experience mapping and configuring network drives.

Experience patching cable and working with server room equipment.
