As a Medical Assistant I was responsible for conducting donor registration, donor interviews, and taking vital signs. As a Phlebotomist I was responsible for manual whole blood phlebotomy donation and double red cells and plasma apheresis collection. I monitored donor recovery and provided adverse donor reaction management. Additionally I was responsible for various equipment and supply Quality Control. I was also responsible for driving company vehicles to mobile sites, and set up and breakdown blood drives.
