Education
• University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (expected May 2020) Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering GPA: 3.27 Urbana, IL Experience
• Senior Design Project – ResnENT Injection Handle (August – December 2019)
- Developed a mechanism for an injection handle that attached to a syringe with a balloon catheter, capable of injecting 5-10 cc of fluid at a pressure of 12 atm.
- Communicated and collaborated with faculty advisor and sponsor to develop a product that satisfied customer needs.
• Undergraduate Research – Bahl Research Group (May – August 2018)
- Worked on developing a low frequency communications device for transmissions over long distances using frequencies of around 1kHz (most transmissions occur at a MHz magnitude).
- Designed a platform to allow slots for stators to push and fall into. Stators establish an external magnetic field and allow for a restoring torque which is applied on the central rotating magnet, which results in power being dissipated.
• Undergraduate Research – Lange Research Group (January – August 2018)
- Worked on mixing and forming different types of concrete based on the ingredients and ratios.
- Learned how to handle heavy machinery in the concrete lab and learned about lab safety and cleanliness.
- Testing data analyzed from mixing concrete into the rheometer and gathering and compiling data.
• DNV-GL – Intern at Jack-up Service Center (May – July 2017)
- Used ABAQUS to design a global model of a jack up rig, as well as a local model of a rack and pinion.
- Applied various types of loads such as environmental loads and live loads to global model to recreate and simulate a jack up rig out at sea in a worst-case scenario, to obtain contact stresses between each rack and pinion combination.
- Utilized international standards to examine and authenticate engineering drawings for clientele. Organizations
• Illini Boxing Club – Competitive Team Member (September 2018 – Present)
- Committing to eight hours a week of team training, along with rigorous individual training outside club meeting hours.
- All team members are extremely dedicated to the sport and help each other grow with regards to skills.
- Nurtured a sense of discipline with respect to maintaining a strict workout regime and proper nutrition.
• Sigma Phi Delta Fraternity (August 2016 – Present)
- Recruitment Chair: Responsible for organizing recruitment events for potential new members at the start of every semester and interacting with potential new members to determine the ideal people to be given a bid.
- Social Chair: Organized various social events throughout the semester and coordinated with different organizations to host events together and maintain a flexible schedule for events.
• Drivetrain Subsystem Member - Illini Motorsports Formula SAE (September 2017 – May 2018)
- Assisted in running clean brake fluid through new Antilock Braking System (ABS) to clean up the calipers within.
- Disassembled differential to obtain friction pads only for cars new differential with a custom housing
- Received machine shop training, and attended weekly meetings.
• American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) (August 2016 – Present)
- Attend weekly meetings and information sessions
