1. Roving Transport System (RTS)

To control the Transfer of bobbin in Ring Frame machine using proximity sensor with PLC programming. CURRICULAM VITAE

Done small task in this project (to make spindle roving forward and reverse using M8 proximity sensor) including programming & panel wiring.

2. Yarn Breakage Sensor (YBS) and Roving Stop Motion (RSM) Monitoring and Calculate the each Spindle RPM& indicate the yarn break of a Ring Frame machine. One red LED indication is provided for yarn break out of 8 spindles. Atmega328p microcontroller used for calculate the spindle details. One microcontroller monitor the 24 spindles. Sensing time of one spindle is 66ms. After the sensing of 24 spindles, red LED is blinking within 2sec when yarn break occurs. All these parameters are transferred to Server using RS485.Whenever yarn break is detected by YBS, corresponding spindle RSM will be activated. Roving of machine is stopped within 4sec after the yarn break. Without the Roving Stop Motion, after a break, the roving continues to be drafted, is removed by the suction tubes and ends up in the pneumafil. Activation of RSM will stop the roving motion and reduce the pneumafil waste. LED Indication stops after piecing. Software- Atmel Studio for Embedded Programming, Dip trace software for PCB design Arduino 2560 for Testing
