To whom it may concern
I am certified to NACE Level 2, API 1169, CWB Level 1, registered as an EIT in mechanical engineering and a trained project manager. I have worked in quality control for a number of oil/gas related environments for over ten years, interspersed with mechanical engineering design projects for a similar duration. Energy sector work spanned coating inspection for tanks, boilers, structural steel skids, and weld inspection for new plant and pipeline construction + shutdowns. I am familiar with all stages of projects; from design, to developing ITP’s, thru to turnover. Mechanical engineering work has included over years of parametric design (Solidworks), full life-cycle development of mechanical prototypes, testing and data analysis. Designs included testing machinery for hydraulic cylinders, automated industrial food processing machinery, high volume pressure vessels to ASBA and ASME VIII requirements and numerous others.
I enjoy communicating with all members of an organization to ensure that client requirements are met (scope, quality) and on time/budget. My background both in engineering, project management and quality control would provide a baseline for coordinating activities, reviewing drawings and work packages, updating in-house quality systems, witnessing QA testing, and managing any non conformance.
Overall, I have an enthusiastic personality, and enjoy working closely with a team and customers. I can relocate on short notice for the duration of this position and enjoy travel. I look forward to discussing this role with you further.
Best regards
Andrew Kyle
