KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

In collaboration with the county government we formed Commodity Technical Working group for family planning commodities and ARV’S for the county and sub county .

In collaboration with the County and sub county pharmacist we were able to raise reporting rates in DHIS for Form 729A and MOH 729 B from 30% to 80% and maintained 85% for family planning commodities .

In collaboration with the county government and NASCOP we identified five central sites and two stand alones were identified and are functional .

In collaboration with KEMSA, County government the project reported zero stock outs for ARV, FP and OI medication .

In collaboration with CHAI and County government we were able to install ADT version 3.4 from one facility to ten facilities.

90% TLD uptake as per NASCOP guidelines timeline .

Increased access to modern family planning commodities by redistributing and following up distribution and order placement from the facility to KEMSA .

Improved quality of family planning services by OJT, mentorship and training more health care providers on the updates .

Supervised HTC officers and Pharmaceutical technologists in the region.

Ensured implementation of tools, systems and oversight of healthcare governance and medicines management; including clinical competence, significant error and near miss reporting, audit, quality assurance and continuous improvements.

Trained pharmacy and medical logistics staff in their use to ensure an overview of the stocks on deployment through analysis of the drugs real consumption in relation to the treatment protocols in place.
