Abstract:

The main objective of this project is to eliminate the wastage of time and employee. It is based on improvising the existing bush press machine in front ale assembly of heavy load vehicle manufacturing in Ashok Leyland. This is done due to separate process is carried out in inserting the bush inside the axle arm of front axle assembly. The changes is done by increasing the height of jig and changing the diameter of hydraulic pipe to insert the bush inside the axle arm. Thus the machining process time is reduced and the separate machining process is eliminated.
