Handled a team of 25 Workers for Operation & Maintenance of Two Grab Ship Unloaders at Coal Berth II, Kamarajar Port Limited, Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

Administers and oversees adherence to plant safety (in order to maintain and injury-free environment), operations

Oversees and participates in equipment and site clean-up on an ongoing basis

Supervises the operators in all work activities that involve equipment maintenance and repair

Monitors the operation and performance of the equipment whilst on shift

Checking equipment and indicators to detect evidence of operating problems

Identifies any problems with plant equipment and clearly communicates the conditions associated with these problems to the client

Maintaining of check sheet, preventive maintenance check sheet, Lubrication schedule, Daily log, wire rope inspection & Breakdown for unloader and cargo handling reports

Condition of Pear Socket with wire ropes for machine running & inspect the idle time

Maintaining of Reconcillation report of Machinery equipments spares & Lubrication.

Responsibility for all Preventive Maintenance Scheduling, Planning, Procurement and Verification of Spares of Grab shore unloader

Mechanical Maintenance of all Auxiliary Equipments.

Continuous monitoring of Hold, Open/Close, Trolley and Boom drive

Frequent lubrication for grab bucket, Gear coupling & Universal coupling,Elevator,Trolley Wheels & plumber blocks, Sheave pulleys and operation wire ropes as per the schedule.

Operation Handling of Cargo for Grab unloader as per requirement and system.

Co-ordination B/W client (FL Smidth) related to routine PM and Maintenance.

Preparation of supporting documents for the bill
