Feb 2012 This was my first job where I was placed being a project surveyor where I was involved in taking road levels, computation of earthwork volumes, design and construction of drifts and culverts preparation of payments certificates on behalf of the contractor.

March 2012 RUPRA CONSTRUCTION LIMITED

Sept 2014 I was a project surveyor during construction of proposed complex at international schools of Kenya. My duties included comparison of the bill of quantities and the built items, setting out, taking and setting of site levels, supervision and guiding other involved trades like steel fixer, carpentry, Mechanical and electrical works, and masonry works Etc.

To Jan 2016 Being Site agent during the construction of proposed new head quarter office block for the NATIONAL WATER CONSERVATION AND PIPE LINE CORPORATION at Nairobi.my duties included;

organizing co-ordination meetings between the main contractor and the subcontractors. Attending the site meetings between the consultant and the other involved subcontractors. Confirming that the construction details on the ground coincide to the details on the drawings. Recruitment of the skilled and semi-skilled. Allocation of duties to the above and making sure that the desired production is achieved so as to meet the target goals and within the set budget. Checking the quality of the works s as to make sure that we have achieved the highest quality stardards. Preparing concrete cube test and later delivering them to the approved lab test to make sure the quality of concrete has achieved the set standards and as per the engineers design.

Being an overall site supervisor where my duties involved checking out whether everything has been done according to the drawings and specifications, that includes structural works, carpentry works, concrete works, and survey works.

Up to 19/02/2019 Being a clerk of works. Where my duties involve the following;

Checking the quality of materials being delivered on site by the contractor to make sure they conform to the specification.

Collection of concrete cube test jointly with the contractor and later subjecting them to crushing test to make sure that the quality of concrete is achieved as per the engineer’s details and approved world standards.

Doing compressive Daily, weekly and monthly reports to the client and the Architects.

Participates in design meetings with the consultants and coordination meetings with the contractor.

Checking and making sure that the contractor is adhering to the drawings and specifications.

Ensuring that the highest standards of quality work is well achieved and maintained.

Checking out that the contactor is within the approved working schedule.

Comparing of the built items with BQ quantities.

What do I do in my spare time?

I am a keen swimmer.

Doing research through the internet on the new upcoming ideas and technology in construction industry.
