Guinea Alumina Corporation (GAC) a fully owned subsidiary of Emirates Global Alumina (EGA) that is one of the largest producers of Alumina. The project comprises of two separate construction work sites in the port of Kamsar and the Mine site in Tinguilinta.

Part of the project Management Team that represents the client on HSE aspects for different sub-projects within the Mine site including Bulk Earthworks, construction of 4 Bridges (Bridge over Rail, Rail over water, Raw water pipeline bridge and the Heavy haul bridge for the mining of Bauxite), Rail construction, and the construction of the Earth Dam.

On the later part of the project, prior completion of PMC scope of works, been seconded to the Client (GAC) to represent and manage HSE department on the client manage contract for the construction of the mining facilities (i.e. Main and secondary crusher, Stacker, Diesel Power Plant, Offices, warehouse and work shop facilities.

Ma’aden Phosphate Project in Wa’ad Al Shammal is a joint venture project between Ma’aden, Mosaic and Sabic which is a part of the Kingdom’s project “Development of the Promise of the North”. Once completed, the plant will produce phosphate concentrate, sulphuric acid, phosphoric acid, and dicalcium and monoalcium phosphate. Other plants will be constructed in Ras Al Khair which is on the eastern region of Saudi Arabia that will produce ammonia and phosphate based fertilizers top compliment the requirements in Wa’ad Al Shammal.

Key member of the project Management Team that represents the client on HSE aspects for different sub-projects which constructs the Non Process Buildings including support buildings, Integrated Security Systems, Truck Loading /Unloading and the Storage Racking Systems on the warehouses.

SADARA Chemical Company is one of the world’s largest chemical complexes in Jubail Industrial City in Al Sharqiya, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia approximately 20 kilometers from King Fahad Industrial Port. It is a fully integrated complex that will consist of 26 Chemical Manufacturing Units and be one of the largest of its kind in the world. Project Management is under Saudi Aramco and Dow chemicals. Fluor has the EPCM scope within UPI (Utilities, Power and Infrastructure) that includes construction of the SGU (Steam Generation Unit), PDU (Power Distribution Unit), WWT (Waste Water Treatment), SDL (Site Development and Logistics) that includes the port activities and the ICF (Interconnecting Connecting Facilities) which I was involved with.

Have the responsibility of monitoring/supervision of construction activities for all utilities below ground, including roads within the plant on a safety point of view.

Ruwais Refinery Project (RRE) is the future facility for the existing Ruwais Refinery owned by Takreer from Abu Dhabi Oil Ministry located approximately 240 km from the heart of Abu Dhabi. RRE project was subdivided into 7 parts in which 7 major companies with the likes of GS Engineering, SK Engineering, Daewoo, Samsung, Zublin etc., were all part of the construction of the massive expansion.

Samsung engineering was the proponent of Sunchang Engineering and Construction of which is in-charge of the RRE3 scope of works that includes structural, mechanicals, piping, electrical and instrument works.

Overall safety in-charge during construction execution of 7 boiler units and underground fire water system that represent the company through the EPC (Samsung) and to the client representative (Mott McDonald).

The project is composed of building Di-ammonium and Phosphate Facility, Infrastructure (Deep water, Barge Port, Power, Ammonia and Villages etc.,) and the Al-Jalamid Beneficiation Plant.

Worley Parsons Petrocon Arabia Ltd. has the scope of the Project management and Consultancy (PMC) that represents the Ma’aden Phosphate Company (MPC) in building a mega project. Assign and responsible on the power desalination plant as oversight on the EPC safety management in the project.

12/2005 - 08/2008 Khursaniyah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia KSA

Khursaniyah Gas Plant Project (KGPP) is located approximately 78 km north of Jubail Industries City in the North Eastern part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. KGPP is one of the mega project launched by ARAMCO and its world’s largest gas plant that has a capacity to produce 1 billion cubic feet of gas per day and 300,000 bpd of NGL.

The project scope are the construction of inlet facilities and sour condensate treatment, LP and HP DGA gas treatment, NGL recovery, sales gas compression, sulfur recovery, flares and off sites, electrical sub-stations, waste water treatment and evaporator ponds.

ARAMCO choose three of the biggest construction company to construct Khursaniyah Gas Plant Project which consists of Bechtel, Technip and CCC.

Responsible in ensuring that safety plan is being adhered to during the construction phase of the project alongside HSE professionals from the EPC and the PMT.
