Door Dept.: Using various species of wood, cutting stiles and rails of different lengths and widths as specified on work orders. Used for designer cabinet doors, drawer fronts, mirror frames, and glass panel doors. Checking for deformities along the way, such as cracks, bad knots, chips, etc.… making sure they meet standards. Then sending on to be assembled, sanded, and finished. Occasionally worked in other departments.

Extensive Lawncare and Snow Removal, Rice Lake, WI. 01/2018-03/2019

(Partime-Fulltime): Using trackers, push mowers, trimmers, and backpacks, to cut lawns, trim and blow off sidewalks and driveways. In winter months, blowing and shoveling walks, driveways, porches and decks for over 80 clients.

Mill Tender: Operating machines which bend and form rolled aluminum into top and bottom rails which are then put together with side rails to form frames for sliding glass door screens of various sizes, and colors. Machines are computer programed to order specifications. Metal is from rolled coils, placed on spools and fed into machine from the rear. Metal is heated to allow for easier forming and shaping rails.

Fiberglass Specialist: Using resin based putty to fill gaps along ceiling and wall joints. Applying fiberglass mesh in those areas and when dried are buffed down smooth and then coated with a resin based sealer. Also, floors done on some models with a granular walkway sprinkled in while coating on others.
