IRONWORK EXPERIENCE (Residential, Commercial and Industrial)

Read and interpret blue prints/cut-sheets for erection of structures, fabrication of materials and layout/elevations. Prepare lists and materials for erection of structures.

Fabricate materials: Stair treads, clips, rods, plates, frames, imbeds, grating, etc. Locate/ fabricate missing items and install. Drilling, cutting and torch cutting raw materials.

Assist welders with lay out, tac weld, drilling, cutting, torching, and the fabrication of clips, imbeds, structures etc.

Layout and elevations for penetrations, columns, walls, doors/windows, handrails, grating, elevators, anchors, etc.

Erecting and connecting: Stick building and pre-assembly of buildings, walls, roofs, platforms, stair towers, mods, crane rails/beams.

Bolt up & tensioning bolts: Inspect areas/bolts for proper bolt orientation/specifications and materials orientation/placement, prior to QC approval.

Load/unload and secure materials with cranes and forklifts, for transport to/from sites

Rigging/Signaling cranes and heavy equipment: clear hand/eye/verbal/radio communications, inspect rigging and proper rigging techniques/use.
