EDUCATION
Langston University, Langston, OK - Engineering Technology Major Associates degree In Electronics - May 2019
Associates degree in Computer-aided Drafting- December 2019. Bachelor's degree in Technology Electronics - December 2019. GPA: 3.35
EXPERIENCE
Langston University, Langston OK -Research/Internship Worked on an autonomous solar panel system along with two projects from the agriculture department. I worked on 3D printing, Object-oriented programming, building circuits, soldering, and web development. Date:August 2017-December2019
With the solar panels I created a high performance solar panel. The panels were able to rotate on two different axis in order to track the sun’s position to maximize efficiency.
Date: January 2018 - December 2019 NSF Award Number:1826820 The first agriculture project is an NSF project that consists of an autonomous robot that will be used to collect data on its environment and soil composition. This information will then be sent to a web graphical user interface that will make predictions about the growth based on the sensor’s data readings . Date: June2019 - July 2019
In the last project, I worked with my school’s Agriculture department to build a stationary environment sensing system for the plants. The data will then be displayed on a GUI.
Langston University, Langston OK - Work-Study Employee Date: September 2017
Assisted the Chair of the Department of Technology under the federal work study program. Perform routine software installation on computers and tutored students in courses including algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, physics, and any other subjects in my field of study.
RELEVANT PROJECTS
Microcontroller Projects
Arduino projects include working with Temperature,Humidity, Distance, light, sound, Water, Motion, and RFID sensors. Also worked with LED light, LCD module, Servo motors, Fan, 74HC595, and 7-segment Display.I have used a tectronics kit to build and program the robot. This robot would use DC motors to navigate through spaces without crashing.Used Raspberry Pi to program servo motors to determine the position based on the user inputting an angle. Also created an LED adjuster based on user input.
