Engineering Design Petrochemical, Oil and Gas
Developed and designed a methanol to formaldehyde process, to increase feed reactant for primary Polyoxymethylene Dimethyl Ethers to increase yield of synthetic diesel cuts. Work done was to increase cetane value in product stream and improve quality of the synthetic fuel product. Designed safety and process control features to proposed unit.
Worked as team lead on primary Polyoxymethylene Dimethyl Ethers integration with single step oxidation reactor, using Aspen. Developed rounded understanding of design and operation of modular synthetic fuel production units.
Research Associate Chemist Sasol North America Lake Charles, Louisiana May 2014-August 2014
Research and Development Oil and Gas
Utilized and serviced Liquid Chromatography Analysis whilst researching the effect of heavy salt concentration in oil reservoirs on surfactant (paraffin-chain salts) performance in enhanced oil recovery in order to increase yields. Worked alongside lead research scientists and Presented results to department quarterly meeting.
