Production Team Lead

Duties include but not limited to:

Joined Apotex as Production Tech. in 2007 and promoted to Team Lead in 2012.

Serve in a “Team lead” role since 2012 within an operations work unit, providing constant guidance and coaching to new recruits and existing team about compliance adhering to GMP, WI & Safety

Plan and schedule production activities. Conduct the most complex area activities. Troubleshoot and resolve more production related issues with internal customers, providing a more advanced level of advice in their area of expertise and referring complex or sensitive issues to the next level. Recommend area operating procedures.

Liaise regularly with peer level internal customers to understand their short-term production needs and determine their level of satisfaction with the service being provided.

Utilize advanced analytical techniques to identify root causes of issues and to determine courses of action in performing advanced activities.

Recommend the usage of new or unconventional analytical techniques to the next level. Resolve challenging production issues with internal customers.

Make often complex interpretations and application decisions with respect to standard operating procedures in their area.
